Burnt Bark

Recently, there was a wildfire near Lis's house. Everyone was OK and there were no buildings lost (thank you firefighters!), but it inspired this color. Walking amongst the destruction revealed this gentle, brown hued black on the trees. It's easy to think of fire as purely a bad thing, but we try to remember that on the other side of it is something new and better.
