Butter Base

We call this base the butter base because it's so incredibly smooth. Like BUTTAH. 

It's a 4ply 100% organic merino base from Peruvian sheep. The amount of plys makes cables pop, and your stitches overall will look very smooth.

Organic means the sheep are fed only organic feed and graze on land free of fertilizers/pesticides, they're treated to a higher standard of living (mulesing free!), and the mill uses non-toxic soap and no harsh bleaches/chemicals/washes. 

It's also OKEO-TEX certified, which means it's been independently tested to prove it's free from harmful levels of toxins. 

This base is not locally sourced but with the high quality of life for the sheep, the 4ply, and the fact that it's the softest merino we've ever experienced, we decided to carry it.
